Job summary

Flotek is seeking a Comms Specialist Engineer to join their UK-based team. The role is an office-based position, with locations in Bridgend or St Asaph.

You will be the primary contact on the comms helpdesk, delivering high-quality remote support across VoIP, connectivity and data networking. Travel is not required, but you must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in VoIP or communications support.
• Good understanding of SIP, RTP, NAT and VoIP fundamentals.
• Ability to diagnose issues logically and work in a fast-paced helpdesk.
• Excellent communication and customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Incident management: log, categorize and prioritise faults per ITIL.
• Service level management: respond within SLAs with clear updates.
• Ownership and escalation: manage incidents end-to-end with diagnostics.
• Technical troubleshooting: diagnose VoIP systems, SIP trunks, handsets, routers and circuits.
• Supplier coordination: liaise with broadband carriers and hosted voice providers.
• Service monitoring: detect outages and latency, report issues.
