Job summary

WPS is seeking an experienced Voids Manager to lead a high-calibre team on our Responsive Maintenance contract in Winchester. You will own day-to-day operations, delivering a 24/7, 365-day service and ensuring homes are turned around efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include managing scheduling, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with clients and residents and lead a team of up to 30 operatives while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in voids or responsive maintenance, ideally within social housing.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee work scheduling in line with company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
Ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality responsive repairs and voids service.
Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings.
Drive performance against KPIs and service targets.
Effectively manage material costs and enforce compliance with processes.
Monitor work quality through inspections, KPIs, and customer feedback.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 30 operatives.
Carry out regular audits and service testing.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support business planning.
