Job summary

Warwick District Council is seeking a proactive Voids Officer to manage the journey from a vacant property to a new tenant letting, coordinating with internal teams and contractors to minimise turnaround times.

You will communicate confidently, handle competing priorities and maintain excellent customer service while ensuring homes are ready to let quickly and efficiently. Hybrid working options are available, with attendance at offices/sites as required.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Voids Officer to take ownership of the journey from a property becoming vacant through to a new tenant moving in. Working closely with internal teams and contractors, you will help minimise empty property turnaround times, improve customer experience and ensure homes are ready to let as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You will be a confident communicator with experience of coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality customer service. You'll be able to build strong working relationships, drive performance improvements and use your initiative to resolve issues and keep projects moving.

The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. However, office and hybrid working are also available.
