Job summary

The Oyster Partnership is seeking an experienced Voids Administrator to join a busy Local Authority Housing and Property Services team. You will support the management of void properties, coordinating with surveyors, contractors and housing teams to push work from inspection to completion.

You will maintain voids trackers in Excel, organise surveyors diaries, monitor progress, and provide regular updates. Knowledge of housing systems and Power BI is advantageous in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in voids administration or coordination
• Local Authority or social housing experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including trackers and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of the voids, repairs or maintenance process
• Experience using housing management systems
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing a busy, high-volume workload

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Excel voids tracker
• Coordinate surveyors diaries and property inspections
• Monitor void properties and outstanding works
• Liaise with surveyors, contractors and housing teams
• Update housing management systems
• Chase outstanding actions and delays
• Provide accurate progress updates
