Job summary

CHS in Cambridge is seeking a Voids & Lettings Officer to coordinate voids and lettings with Housing, Property Services, contractors, local authorities and customers, ensuring relets meet targets and safety certification.

You will coordinate mutual exchanges, handle customer applications, liaise with Housing Officers and other landlords to ensure timely, compliant decisions, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role involving letting, voids or mutual exchanges.
• Experience working in partnership to deliver services.
• Experience contributing to change, reviewing or designing processes.
• Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good working knowledge of computer software to provide technical and administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the voids and lettings process with Housing, Property Services, Contractors, Local Authorities and Customers to relet within targets and meet safety certification.
• Coordinate mutual exchange applications, liaising with Housing Officers and other landlords to ensure timely decisions with certification.
• Make or propose changes to improve service delivery to ensure value for money and compliance with targets.
• Ensure the voids, lettings and mutual exchange processes meet regulatory and audit requirements.
• Provide accurate, high-quality advice to customers on housing management issues.
