Job summary

Matalan is seeking a VM Manager to uphold premium visual merchandising standards across the Milton Keynes store, delivering impactful product presentation aligned with commercial priorities. You will adapt layouts to customer behaviour, drive sell-through and lead in-store campaigns with brand consistency.

You will coach VM colleagues, coordinate seasonal launches, manage planograms and POS activity, and collaborate with store leadership to optimise the customer journey and store performance.

Qualifications

• Visual/retail qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of store operations and visual merchandising processes.
• Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of Visual Merchandising standards across all departments in line with company guidelines; maintain high quality in-store experience.
• Plan and coordinate seasonal launches, campaigns and visual changes for timely implementation.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Regional VM Manager to align priorities with store performance and commercial goals.
• Coach and develop store colleagues and VM advisors to build visual capabilities and standards.
• Oversee day-to-day product presentation and availability through displays and planograms.
• Own and manage all in-store POS activity and materials; ensure timely execution.
