Job summary

Matalan is seeking a VM Manager to deliver high visual merchandising standards across the store, aligning displays with commercial priorities and brand guidelines. You will drive sell-through by adapting layouts to customer behaviour and sales performance, while leading a team and ensuring premium presentation across all departments.

You will coordinate seasonal launches, coach staff, and maintain planograms, taking ownership of in-store POS and ensuring timely execution to maximise sales

Qualifications

• Visual/retail qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of store operations and visual merchandising processes.
• Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver VM standards across all departments and ensure cohesive in-store experience.
• Plan and coordinate seasonal launches, campaigns and visual changes.
• Work with Store Manager and Regional VM Manager to align priorities with performance and commercial goals.
• Coach and develop store colleagues and VM advisors to build visual capabilities.
• Oversee day-to-day product presentation and availability through displays and fixtures.
• Maintain planogram integrity and ensure consistency with brand standards.
• Lead in-store POS activity including ordering, distribution, setup and implementation.
