Job summary

Matalan is seeking a VM Manager to lead visual merchandising across the store, delivering high-quality product presentation and a premium in-store experience. You will align displays with commercial priorities, adapt layouts to customer behaviour, and highlight key products to drive sell-through.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Regional VM Manager to ensure brand guidelines are met, coach colleagues, and manage planogram integrity and POS activity to support store performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment.
• Ability to plan seasonal launches, campaigns and visual changes.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive sell-through.

Responsibilities

• Deliver VM standards across all departments in line with guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate seasonal launches and visual changes.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Regional VM Manager to align priorities.
• Coach and develop store colleagues to enhance VM capabilities.
• Oversee day-to-day product presentation and inventory in visuals.
• Manage in-store POS materials and ensure timely execution.
