Job summary

Optical Express in Manchester One clinic is seeking a Patient Advisor to guide patients through the journey from inquiry to post-operative follow-up, delivering a premium service aligned with luxury purchases.

You will support clinicians, manage consultations (in-clinic or virtual), handle bookings and payments, and strive to meet commercial KPIs while providing outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of a patient facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient with use of digital and diagnostic technology.
• Experience within healthcare or high-end retail would be preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support patients through all steps of the pathway, building rapport and confidence.
• Deliver warm, professional welcomes and manage first impressions.
• Capture diagnostic scans for clinical interpretation while explaining features and benefits.
• Assist consultations for optometrists/surgeons, in-clinic or virtual.
• Close consultations and schedule surgery and aftercare.
• Handle payments, financing and booking admin.
• Meet and exceed individual commercial KPIs.
