Abacus Group is seeking a Virtual Technology Manager to orchestrate technology strategy and delivery for regulated industries, including financial services and healthcare.

The VTM will coordinate infrastructure modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, AI enablement, and service lifecycle management, working with engineering, security, operations, and client teams to drive adoption and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership, solutions architecture, technology consulting, managed services, or client-facing technology advisory role.
• Experience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and technologies.
• Experience in regulated environments and communications with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational technology partner for assigned clients, aligning infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies to business objectives.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between client stakeholders and Abacus delivery teams, ensuring needs are prioritized and driven through resolution.
• Perform targeted hands-on technical work within the VTM scope while coordinating larger engineering efforts.
• Guide clients through modernization initiatives involving cloud platforms, security, IAM, automation, and tooling.
• Maintain regular engagement with client stakeholders through meetings, reviews, and technology planning.
