Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a specialist to support the Violence Prevention and Reduction Programme across the Trust, aligning with national standards and legislation. Qualifications

• Experience in violence prevention or staff safety roles.
• Ability to analyse incident and workforce data to identify trends.
• Experience in developing and delivering training and guidance to staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Violence Prevention and Reduction Programme.
• Provide specialist advice and guidance to managers and staff on violence prevention, aggression management and reporting processes.
• Analyse incident, intelligence and workforce data to identify trends, hotspots and emerging risks, providing recommendations for targeted interventions.
• Support the investigation and review of violence and aggression incidents, identifying learning and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce regular reports and assurance documents for operational groups and senior managers to demonstrate progress against objectives.
• Support the Trust in meeting the NHS Staff Standard for Violence Prevention and Reduction.
