Job summary

Catch22 is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the delivery of the Youth Violence Intervention Programme at King's College Hospital London and associated community work. You will line-manage a team of Youth Workers and ensure services operate safely and effectively within a health care setting.

The role concentrates on safeguarding, data recording, partnership working with Children’s Services, and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

• Relevant level 3 or 4 qualification in health & wellbeing, youth provision or similar or demonstrable equivalent experience
• Knowledge of risk and vulnerability amongst young people
• Experience of line management and supervising staff
• Experience of inter-agency working and multi-agency partnerships
• Experience of using recording and data collation systems

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage, coach and develop staff including appraisals and supervision
• Promote Catch22's vision and values in service delivery
• Record interventions and data in the contract‑required management system
• Manage operational risk, health and safety, governance and safeguarding
• Carry out regular case file audits and caseload management
• Oversee referrals allocation and ensure proper caseload structures
• Meet reporting requirements and maintain accurate records
• Hold a small caseload and support service users in hospital and post-discharge
