Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising and providing safeguarding training.
• Ability to assess safeguarding risks and write reports.
• Experience in multi-agency partnership working.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously, organising and planning own work to meet the needs of the service.
• Under the direction of the Head of Safeguarding the post holder will be responsible for managing the sharing of confidential, sensitive information with partner agencies in relation to safeguarding.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Safeguarding Team and provide cover where appropriate.
• Provide supervision, specialist advice and support related to safeguarding children and adults across the Trust.
• Attend multi-agency case conferences, strategy discussions and other safeguarding meetings.
• Support the delivery of safeguarding training.
• Assist in the monitoring of quality developments/audits.
• Experience in managing challenging situations and conversations.
