Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an experienced Vinyl Floor Layer for Central London projects across high-end commercial refurbishments.

You will handle subfloor prep, sheet vinyl, LVT, and safety flooring with accurate cutting, welding, and finishing. Must have CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card or equivalent and own tools.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card in Floor Laying preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of proven commercial vinyl laying experience.
• Own full set of hand tools, hot welder, and PPE.
• High level of attention to detail and finishing skills.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Subfloor preparation: screeding, latexing, and ply-boarding.
• Laying sheet vinyl, safety flooring, and Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT).
• Performing precision hot welding, capping, and coving.
• Accurately measuring, cutting, and trimming vinyl to fit doorways, borders, and complex fixtures.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced Vinyl Floor Layer on behalf of a leading interior fit-out contractor working across high-end commercial, healthcare, and educational refurbishment projects in Central London.

You will be responsible for subfloor preparations and the complete installation of commercial sheet vinyl, LVT, and Safety Flooring (Cap & Cove finish) to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subfloor preparation: screeding, latexing, and ply-boarding.
• Laying sheet vinyl, safety flooring, and Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT).
