Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst for the Finance Change Department in EMEA. You will deliver controlled finance change, support reporting, and lead data analysis and forecasting for ongoing projects across finance applications.

The role requires strong SQL/Excel skills, experience in finance transformation, and the ability to work with stakeholders. Hybrid working is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Excel skills with large datasets.
• Degree in finance or accounting; accounting qualification advantageous.
• Experience in finance transformation/change programmes preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics and automation tools.
• Experience presenting to stakeholders and gathering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver well-controlled, efficient finance change across systems.
• Support reporting obligations with accurate, timely information.
• Provide data analysis, forecasting and testing for finance projects.
• Lead workshops to gather business requirements from stakeholders.
• Drive automation and efficiency in finance reporting processes.
