Job summary

SMBC Group seeks a VP-level Finance Change Specialist to drive well-controlled, efficient change for Finance across EMEA. You will lead data analysis, forecasting, and automation initiatives using SQL, Oracle Cloud, and reporting tools.

You will partner with Finance and IT to deliver impactful reporting improvements, guiding workshops and ensuring timely delivery of plans and runbooks. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Degree-level technical education in accounting/finance.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant advantageous.
• Experience in Finance transformation/change programmes desirable.
• Proficient with data extraction/analysis tools (SQL, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Draft and document business requirements; translate into actionable deliverables.
• Monitor progress, provide guidance, and oversee testing.
• Deliver automation and efficiency across Finance reporting.
