Are you ready to join a warm, welcoming team in the heart of Halifax?

I’m working with a fabulous, independent, small animal practice, well-established in the local community for over 20 years. They pride themselves on delivering friendly, professional care for creatures great and small, supported by a large, experienced nursing team and modern facilities.

They’re on the lookout for a confident, team-focused Vet Surgeon who enjoys variety, can handle some sole charge work at branch sites, and values a supportive, friendly environment. Both experienced vets and those looking to further develop their skills are encouraged to apply.

You’ll be working alongside an inspiring team of 10 FTE vets, including two certificate holders (medical and surgical), with two more currently training in surgical and imaging certificates. Professional development is actively supported and encouraged.

Facilities include:

This Tier 2 accredited practice offers a wide range of modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, including digital radiography, an in‑house laboratory, a dental x‑ray and imaging suite. They also have separate wards for cats, dogs, and exotic patients, ensuring high‑quality care for every patient.

Rota:
  • Mix of consulting and operating shifts across the 3 branches
  • 4 or 5‑day week. 5 for consult‑only vets
  • Optional night/weekend work with time in lieu
  • Flexible hours and days negotiable
The Package:
  • Salary £40,000–£60,000 DOE
