Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist for Walton Lodge Vets on a part-time permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering a welcoming client experience, handling bookings, enquiries and payments, while supporting the team in daily clinic administration.

You will work 18 hours across Monday to Wednesday, covering opening hours from 8am to 7pm, ensuring a smooth client journey for both patients and owners.

• Excellent communication with clients and pets in a calm, friendly manner.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Walton Lodge Vets on a part-time permanent basis.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 18 hour working week, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday. It will include 6hr shifts to cover opening hours 8am - 7pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanour
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar
• Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
• Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Collect payments and process invoices
