Pets‘n’Vets is part of Linnaeus and Mars Veterinary Health. This fixed-term Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Advisor role at Roundhouse Hospital in Glasgow asks for a proactive, customer-focused individual to greet clients and manage bookings in a fast-paced veterinary practice.

You’ll handle calls, payments, and administration while promoting services and ensuring a calm, professional first impression for every client visit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a clinic setting essential.
• Confident using the telephone.
• Cash handling and till operation.
• IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and registering new customers.
• Booking in customers and ensuring gold standard care.
• Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries.
• Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
• Administration duties such as scanning paperwork and filling forms.
• Taking payments.
• Promoting services.
