Job summary

inspiring vet care, UK’s number one vet care provider, is seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time permanent basis.

You will manage appointments, handle enquiries and support client communications, and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. This 17.5-hour-per-week role covers Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday shifts.

• Experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on service and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner.
• Booking, cancelling and changing appointments.
• Dealing with queries by phone, email and face to face promptly and professionally.
• Advising clients on preventative healthcare products and promoting Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance.
• Dispensing medications/prescriptions.
• Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time permanent basis.

Rowe Vet Group have a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-under-Edge.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time permanent role working 17.5 hours per week. The shifts will include:

• Monday 1-7.30pm
• Wednesday 1-7pm
• Thursday 2-7pm
• Saturday 1:4 at Yate
