Job summary

Rowe Vets - Yate is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, manage appointments, handle enquiries, and support both clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

The role involves greeting clients, booking appointments, handling queries, advising on preventive health products, dispensing medications, and processing payments.

• Dispensing medications/prescriptions.
• Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time permanent basis.

Rowe Vet Group have a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-under-Edge.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time permanent role working 24 hours per week. The shifts will include:

• Mondays 8-5pm
• Thursday 8-2pm
• Friday 8-1.30pm
