We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Springfield Veterinary Group.

Location: Based across our Rotherham and Wickersley sites

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 15 hours per week, every Friday and Saturday, including some Bank Holidays and additional shifts to cover holiday and absences

Shift Pattern: Fridays at Wickersley and Saturdays at Rotherham

About the role:

Day-to-day duties include:

• Answering phones and booking appointments
• Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
• Registering new clients
• Completing insurance forms
• Dispensing medications
• Taking payments
• Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

• Previous Receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
• Resilient, capable of handling distressing situations
• Excellent communicator with strong empathy
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems
