We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Regan Veterinary Group.

Location: New Moston site - Manchester

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with shifts either 08:00 - 16:00 or 11:00 - 19:00, with a 1:4 share in the Saturday rota

About the role:

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

  • Previous reception experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to handle potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with the public
  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
