The Neighbourhood Vet, East Dulwich, London

The Neighbourhood Vets are seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to join their busy practice. You will be the first point of contact for clients and the public, both on the phone and in person, providing a welcoming and knowledgeable impression to promote the practice.

About Us

We are a 20-vet practice located in South East London, established nearly 10 years ago by two Australian vets. Our main hospital is situated in East Dulwich on Lordship Lane, with branch clinics in Crofton Park and Penge, where we are active members of the local community.

Our team has grown to 72 members, and we pride ourselves on being close-knit, caring, and fun. We value kindness, compassion, and integrity for our staff, clients, and their pets. A good sense of humor is appreciated as we enjoy creating a positive work environment.

We are a busy, expanding practice and prefer full-time hours, but we are flexible. Ideally, you will work four days a week from Monday to Friday, averaging 9.25 hours per day, with participation in a 1:3 weekend rota: Saturday 8:30 am - 3 pm, and Sunday 9 am - 7 pm, with a day off (usually Monday) after working Sunday. The weekend rota is 1:6, with Saturday 9 am - 7 pm.
