We are seeking a friendly, organised, and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and professional service. This role is initially a temporary 3-month contract with a review at the end of this period.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong organisational abilities with keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Proficiency in veterinary software systems for scheduling and record-keeping is essential. While knowledge of basic veterinary terminology is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
We are a beautiful, light, and airy purpose-built veterinary practice located in Ashford, within a small shopping centre. Situated less than an hour from London by train and near the interesting Kent coast, we offer a welcoming and very positive environment to work in.
Our facilities include in-house blood testing and digital X-ray machines. Our team comprises 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 1 Receptionist. Every member of our team has an extremely positive attitude, making working at Eureka a pleasure. Our experienced and organised Head Nurse, Anna, provides excellent leadership.
