We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at The Village Veterinary Centre - Smallfield.

Location: Ebenezer Chapel, Chapel Road, Smallfield, Horley RH6 9JH

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

About the role:

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Processing payments
  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to handle potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with the public
  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
