Charlton Vets for Pets is seeking a Receptionist to join our team in a busy practice. You will greet clients and their pets, provide guidance on services, and ensure smooth day-to-day running using our online booking system. You will handle payments, bookings and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
The role requires calm, attentive customer care, enthusiasm and a passion for pets. Previous reception experience is advantageous but not essential, with potential for further development

This is a Receptionist position working full-time, covering 40 hours per week and will include 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis.
There is scope for occasional VCA shifts if this is of interest to you but is not essential to the role.
Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
You will greet each client and offer support, guidance and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
Other tasks will include keeping the clinic clean, tidy, and organised; feeding and monitoring in-patients; running clinical tests; managing stock; handling a variety of small animals; helping set up for operations and deep cleaning all areas.
