Job summary

CVS Group is looking for a passionate Veterinary Receptionist at Arbury Road Vets in Cambridge. The role involves providing exceptional service to clients, managing appointments, and assisting with veterinary tasks in a supportive team environment. Ideal candidates will have previous receptionist experience and strong customer service skills, contributing to the care and welfare of pets.

Qualifications

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as aVeterinary Receptionistat Arbury road vets.
Location: Arbury Road Vets, 32 Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2JE
Contract: Part time - Full time depending on candidate
Hours: minimum 15 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday including 1:3 Saturday mornings

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Answering phones and booking appointments
  • Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
  • Registering new clients
  • Completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications
  • Taking payments
  • And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
  • Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
