Job description

We are looking for a Part-time Receptionist to join our friendly team at Market Vets on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent client and patient care.

The Receptionist role includes the following responsibilities:

1. Warmly greeting clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate, and helpful demeanour
2. Efficiently managing the diary to maximize appointment slots, handle online bookings, and address emergencies while maintaining client records in compliance with GDPR
3. Answering busy phone lines, emails, and other client communications
4. Registering clients for the Pet Health Club
5. Processing payments

Applicant requirements

We are looking for someone who is proactive with exceptional communication skills, has great attention to detail, and will enjoy a fast-paced busy environment whilst providing excellent customer care.

Your shift pattern

This is a part-time position working 15 hours a week across Fridays and Saturdays.
