Join our accredited RCVS practice as we are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave for 12 months. Join our bustling 1st Opinion Small Animal Veterinary Group in Bridgwater, Somerset.

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and capable Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Blake Vets for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work across our three well-equipped branches, supporting a mix of medical, surgical, inpatient, and consultative care in a genuinely collaborative environment.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team of vets, RVNs, student nurses, and receptionists, all dedicated to delivering exceptional first-opinion care. If you enjoy variety in your day and take pride in excellent communication, reliability, and teamwork-we’d love to hear from you.

There’s scope for inclusion on our out-of-hours and bank holiday rotas. The OOH rota includes a 1 in 10 weeknight duty and a 1 in 5 split weekend, with time off in lieu.

About You

We are looking for an RVN with exceptional communication skills, teamwork, commitment, friendliness, and reliability. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality core to our clients and their pets and want our new RVN to carry these values.
