Job summary

Veterinary Vision in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Practice Administrator to coordinate health and safety, financials, and reception team management for the practice. You will link clinical and non-clinical operations, ensuring high standards of client and patient care.

You will work with the wider Veterinary Vision team, supporting day‑to‑day operations, regulatory compliance, and escalation of issues. The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills in a busy veterinary setting.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and adhering to H&S policies.
  • Co‑ordinate maintenance and repairs within the practice.
  • Dealing with client concerns and complaints.
  • Supporting the team with the day‑to‑day running of the practice.
  • Regulatory compliance: Health and Safety, Data Control, Pharmacy, Waste, RCVS.
  • Communicating decisions from senior leadership to the team.
  • Decision making and escalation awareness.
  • Regular communication with the Practice Manager and other senior members.
  • Work with clinical leads to ensure processes and protocols are in place, visible, understood and adhered to.

Practice Administrator – Glasgow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and enthusiastic Practice Administrator to join our Glasgow team. The Practice Administrator will be the central link between the clinical and non‑clinical needs of the practice’s operation, and will also work with the wider Veterinary Vision team. As a Practice Administrator, your role encompasses health and safety, financial management (including debt and insurance), line management of the reception team, and coordination of complaints. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our exacting standards of client and patient care.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Implementing and adhering to H&S policies
  • Co‑ordinate maintenance and repairs within the practice
  • Dealing with client concerns and complaints
  • Supporting the team with the day‑to‑day running of the practice
  • Regulatory compliance: Health and Safety, Data Control, Pharmacy, Waste, RCVS
  • Successfully cascading information and decisions from senior leadership to the team
  • Decision making and escalation awareness
  • Regular communication with the Practice Manager and other senior members

Employment Type
