Vets Now is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Nurse in Peterborough to provide essential emergency care for pets. This role allows you to enhance your ECC knowledge while balancing other commitments.

Up to £17ph DOE plus benefits

Working hours:

1:4 weekends working Saturday from 15:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.

Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
