Job summary

Vets Now in Sidcup is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Nurse to join our emergency team. The role covers Saturday 12:00–19:30 and Sunday 08:30–19:30, with bank holidays.

You will support first aid, critical care, and diagnostics, helping to expand ECC knowledge while balancing other commitments.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration for a minimum of six months.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First Aid: give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care: management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics: confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Weekend Veterinary Nurse - Sidcup. Up to £21ph DOE plus benefits. Working hours: Every Saturday from 12:00 to 19:30 and Sunday from 08:30 to 19:30, plus bank holidays.
