Job summary
BVS Vets in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, is seeking a Veterinary Nurse for a 4 or 5 day week in a lively mixed practice. The role offers a 40-hour week with 1:4 weekend rotation and no OOHs, in a modern, well-equipped clinic with theatres, digital x-ray, ECG and in-house lab.
The successful candidate will join a multi-vet team led by a head nurse, with ongoing CPD support and a generous benefits package including healthcare, life assurance and more.
Qualifications
- Qualified RVN or eligible for RVN status.
- Experience in a busy veterinary environment preferred.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and handling emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients and support clinical tasks.
- Assist surgeons and veterinary clinicians in procedures.
- Perform diagnostic and routine patient checks.
- Communicate with clients about care, treatment plans and aftercare.

A 1st opinion practice that has been within the community for many years providing not just superior care but an enjoyable place to work.
This is a full-time role covering 40 hours per week. 4 or 5 day working weeks are available with just 1:4 weekend support.
No OOHs.
A large, stand-alone premises with lots of natural light. You will have access to: fully-equipped theatres (separate for cats and dogs), digital/dental x-ray, ECG, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house lab and much more!
A multi-vet practice supported by a Head Nurse, RVNs, and support team. With a long-standing head nurse, you will be given all the tools from day one to be successful.
Interests/additional qualifications include surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and preventative care.
