Embrace a Rewarding Career in a Vibrant Practice

Step into a fulfilling role at this charming practice nestled in the heart of West London. This full-time position offers the chance to become an integral part of a well-established community, where many clients are bonded through their comprehensive healthcare plan.

The Practice

Join a settled and supportive team, including a lead vet who has been with the practice for over 12 years. The practice is also a training ground for future RVNs, and you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding them through their studies, provided by the inhouse training college. As the sole RVN, you will enjoy a higher salary band reflecting your additional responsibilities.

Professional Growth and Development

Leadership training is available to help you excel in your role. You will work closely with your vet to ensure the practice runs smoothly, even on those challenging days. This role is 40 hours per week, including a 1:4 branch Saturday and a 1:10 Sunday rotation at the nearby Hospital, with one bank holiday per year. Importantly, there are no on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and continually strive for improvement.
  • Assist the veterinary surgeon in theatre and during consultations.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient hospitalisation records.
  • Ensure the comfort and welfare of all pets in our care.
  • Keep accurate records of hospitalised patients.
  • Foster a respectful and collaborative team environment.
  • Clean, pack, sterilise, and store equipment correctly.
  • Maintain adequate stocks of drugs, diets, and consumables.
  • Assist with the induction and training of new staff.
  • Provide friendly and efficient reception duties.
  • Support student nurses as a clinical supervisor.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
