Job summary

BVS Vets in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, is seeking a Veterinary Nurse for a 4 or 5 day week in a lively mixed practice. The role offers a 40-hour week with 1:4 weekend rotation and no OOHs, in a modern, well-equipped clinic with theatres, digital x-ray, ECG and in-house lab.

The successful candidate will join a multi-vet team led by a head nurse, with ongoing CPD support and a generous benefits package including healthcare, life assurance and more.

Qualifications

• Qualified RVN or eligible for RVN status.
• Experience in a busy veterinary environment preferred.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and handling emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and support clinical tasks.
• Assist surgeons and veterinary clinicians in procedures.
• Perform diagnostic and routine patient checks.
• Communicate with clients about care, treatment plans and aftercare.
