We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Crossroads Veterinary Centre on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

Crossroads Veterinary Centre is a modern, well‑equipped practice with a main hospital in High Wycombe and branch surgeries in Hazlemere and Watlington. You’ll work across all three sites, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Having cared for the local community for over 65 years, we’re proud to combine high‑quality veterinary care with a friendly, compassionate approach.

This is an exciting time to join our growing practice, with our team expanding to 10 vets alongside eight qualified RVNs, one Student Veterinary Nurse and two Patient Care Assistants. As a training practice, we welcome both experienced RVNs and new graduates, offering opportunities to develop mentoring skills while helping shape the next generation of veterinary nurses.

Practice Highlights
  • Facilities including digital and dental X‑ray, abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, IDEXX lab machines, TONO‑Pen, EPOC, coagulation testing, and Vets Now equipment when needed

  • Close‑knit team who are involved in the local community and meet regularly outside of work

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • 40 hours per week
  • Our ideal full‑time shift pattern comprises three 8 am‑8 pm shifts and one 8 am‑1:30 pm shift each week, although flexibility is available to suit the right candidate
  • 1:7 Saturdays 8 am‑1 pm
