Job summary

Creature Comforts is reshaping veterinary care with a people‑first, tech‑enabled front of house role. As Practice Host, you’ll greet members and their pets, manage bookings and payments, and support the clinic’s daily flow with empathy and professionalism.

You’ll triage emergencies with the clinical team, maintain spaces to high standards, and engage with members to promote memberships and services. A passion for animals and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: customer-facing experience in healthcare, hospitality or similar.
• Desirable: prior veterinary practice experience.
• GCSE English/Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming frontline for members and pets, delivering an outstanding experience.
• Manage check-ins, bookings, payments, and enquiries in person and by phone.
• Build relationships with members and pets through clear communication.
• Triages and supports patient emergencies with the clinical team when needed.
• Oversee admin tasks, diary management, and appointment tracking.
• Support debt management, end-of-day cash-up and payments workflows.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all shared spaces daily.
