Job summary

Pets'n'Vets Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital in Glasgow is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Advisor. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling bookings, payments and inquiries with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a busy veterinary environment.

The role is a fixed term maternity cover, working 37.5 hours per week across early and late shifts, with weekend rotas. Benefits include holidays, pension, and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinic setting is essential.
• Confident using the telephone for enquiries and bookings.
• Cash handling and till operation experience.
• IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and register new customers.
• Book in customers and ensure they receive gold standard care.
• Answer calls and handle a range of customer queries.
• Manage customer expectations regarding wait times.
• Carry out admin duties (scan paperwork, forms).
• Take payments and promote services.
