Job summary

Ashton Vets for Pets in Audenshaw is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead a small team and drive high standards of care. You’ll support the Practice Owners to deliver business objectives, maintain smooth day-to-day operations, and ensure exceptional client and patient experiences.

You’ll be involved in HR policy implementation, staff development, and 1:1s with client care advisors. A flexible, full-time role with 25–40 hours per week is offered.

• Proven team-management experience in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting HR needs of a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to coaching and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee practice compliance and safety logging.
• Support owners in driving performance and 1:1s with Client Care Advisors.
• Lead and develop the practice’s social media strategy.
• Manage client feedback, complaints handling, and Google Reviews responses.
• Implement and manage HR policies for colleagues.
• Tackle challenges to maintain high service standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Balance diary to cover responsibilities.
