Job summary

Ashton Vets for Pets invites applications for a dedicated Practice Manager to lead a friendly team in a busy veterinary environment. You will support the Practice Owners, motivate staff, ensure efficient operations and deliver outstanding client care.

This full-time role (25–40 hours per week) offers flexibility to accommodate individual needs, a salary of £32,000 FTE depending on experience, plus access to staff discounts and pension. Location: OL7 0DN.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a veterinary setting.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Committed to coaching and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee practice compliance, including Health & Safety and maintenance logging.
• Support practice owners by driving performance and leading 1:1s with Client Care Advisors.
• Lead and develop the practice’s social media strategy across platforms.
• Manage client feedback via complaints handling, Medallia analysis, and Google Reviews responses.
• Implement and manage HR policies for colleagues.
• Address challenges quickly to maintain high service standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Manage your own diary to balance responsibilities.
