Job summary

Sodexo in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Sales and Events Coordinator to turn enquiries into memorable experiences. You will manage the full client journey from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients and key accounts.

With a focus on event planning, quotations, CRM records, and seamless delivery, you will collaborate with operations to ensure every detail is flawless.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event sales, venue sales, hospitality sales, event planning, or event coordination.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound event enquiries and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Producing tailored event proposals and quotations that meet client requirements.
• Conducting professional and engaging venue show rounds.
• Coordinating events from confirmation through to completion.
• Building and developing long-term relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring full compliance with company procedures.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Managing event documentation, pre-payments, invoicing, and financial administration.
• Maximising event revenue through effective upselling and account development.
• Representing the venue at networking events, exhibitions, client entertainment activities, and sales initiatives.
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity within the Glasgow events market.
