Job summary

Sodexo in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Sales and Events Coordinator to turn enquiries into memorable experiences. You will manage the full client journey from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients and key accounts.

With a focus on event planning, quotations, CRM records, and seamless delivery, you will collaborate with operations to ensure every detail is flawless.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event sales, venue sales, hospitality sales, event planning, or event coordination.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound event enquiries and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.

• Representing the venue at networking events, exhibitions, client entertainment activities, and sales initiatives.
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity within the Glasgow events market.

Barclays Hampden is seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Sales and Events Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales and events professional who thrives on building relationships, creating exceptional client experiences, and delivering outstanding events. Working within one of Scotland's premier venues, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, securing new business, managing existing client relationships, and coordinating events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.

• Knowledge of the Glasgow events market would be advantageous.
