Job summary

Bartlett-Mitchell is hiring a Customer Service Assistant / General Assistant to support catering operations across Zones 1 to 3 in Greater London. You will serve customers, handle barista tasks, assist with corporate hospitality events, and ensure clean, well-presented restaurant spaces with attentive service.

You should have Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates, plus experience in customer service, merchandising, and till operations.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant / General Assistant to join our team. This Catering Assistant position supports our catering operations across Zones 1 to 3. The role involves duties such as barista responsibilities, serve customers in our restaurants, and/or assisting with corporate hospitality events.Transport costs will be covered upon successful probation of 3 months.

Monitoring counters and chillers to make sure they’re clean, well-stocked and presented in line with our six principles, you’ll regularly check the restaurant areas to ensure consistent levels of cleanliness with meticulous attention to detail. You have the ability to listen carefully and take instructions from your manager, and you provide prompt and efficient service at all times. You are also able to communicate confidently with customers, gaining feedback and reacting to their needs to ensure that every customer experience is a positive one. Following procedures and displaying good food safety practice at all times, you have your Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates. With previous experience working in a customer service environment, you have good merchandising skills and till experience.
