Job summary

Gorilla Nutrilla Ltd. is seeking a Vending Engineer to own a growing portfolio of vending locations across Greater London and Birmingham. You’ll keep machines reliable, clean, and fully stocked through efficient route planning and hands-on maintenance.

This role rewards ownership and proactive service, with full training. You’ll start with ~25 sites and expand, coordinating with warehouse and installation teams, while logging service records and stock usage.

Qualifications

• Experience with vending systems is not essential; ownership and organisation are valued.
• Strong sense of responsibility and planning skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own your region: plan efficient daily/weekly routes and manage stock and machine performance.
• Service machines: refill consumables, clean systems, and perform routine maintenance.
• Fix and elevate: resolve technical issues using training and company procedures.
• Keep it safe: maintain food hygiene standards and report safety or compliance concerns.
• Support the wider team: assist with warehouse stock, deliveries, and machine relocation.
• Stay on top of admin: complete service records and communicate with management.

About the role:

We're looking for a Vending Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of vending machine locations across Birmingham and the surrounding region. You'll be the person who keeps our machines reliable, clean, and fully stocked. Combining route planning, hands on maintenance, and great customer service to deliver a top quality experience at every site.

This is a role for someone who takes real ownership of their patch and treats it as their own business. You'll start with roughly 25 locations and grow from there.

What you'll do

• Own your region — plan efficient daily and weekly routes, cluster visits by geography, and manage stock levels and machine performance across your locations.
• Service machines — refill powders, water, cups and consumables; clean mixing and dispensing systems; empty wastewater; and carry out routine maintenance, calibration and quality checks.
• Fix and elevate — resolve technical issues using training, manuals and company procedures, and transfer to the CTO or technical support.
• Keep it safe — handle products to food hygiene standards, maintain cleanliness and presentation, and report any health, safety, quality or compliance concerns immediately.
• Support the wider team — help with warehouse stock management, deliveries, and the installation, commissioning and relocation of machines at new sites.
• Stay on top of admin — complete service records and reports accurately, log stock usage, and communicate proactively with management.
