Job summary

Talented People is recruiting a White Goods Engineer transitioning to a Vending Engineer role covering Birmingham and the Midlands. You’ll install, service, fault‑find and repair vending equipment at customer sites, using your existing engineering skills in a new sector.

Full training is provided to help you move into vending, with a long‑term career path in a growing industry and a field‑based role across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience as a White Goods Engineer or similar field‑based engineering role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• A practical, problem‑solving approach.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

White Goods Engineer → Vending Engineer

Location: Birmingham / Midlands

Salary: £31,000 per annum + door to door overtime at 1.3x

Are you an experienced White Goods Engineer looking to develop your career and learn a new trade?

We’re looking for a skilled and hands‑on engineer to join our team as a Vending Engineer, covering Birmingham and the wider Midlands. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience repairing domestic appliances who wants to transfer their existing engineering skills into a new and rewarding sector.

The role

As a Vending Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, fault‑finding and repairing vending equipment across customer sites throughout the Midlands.

You’ll receive support and training to help you make the transition from white goods into vending, so direct vending experience isn’t essential.
