Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a vending driver based at Portishead head office with travel to Bristol and Bath. You will provide a friendly catering service, handle vending replenishment, and operate across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of service and food safety.

Key responsibilities include stock rotation, food preparation assistance, and maintaining clean, hygienic service areas while delivering prompt, courteous customer service throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Full driver's license is required.
• Experience in education catering is preferred.
• Good health & safety knowledge.
• Flexible, customer-focused with excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver catering and hospitality provisions to multiple locations across Bristol and Bath area.
• Responsible for goods receipt and stock rotation of deliveries.
• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• Keep kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Provide friendly, efficient and hygienic service to customers.
• Ensure prompt and efficient service and consistently exceed expectations.
• Be customer focused, visible during service, approachable and proactive in meeting needs.
• Co-operate with team members and assist in kitchen/service duties as required.
• Attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses.
• Follow unit cleaning schedules rigorously.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE A HIGH LEVEL VETTING PROCESS

As a vending driver you will be providing a friendly catering service at all levels within the location, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with vending replenishment and organisation operating out of Portishead head office across multiple sites within the Bristol and Bath Area

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver catering and hospitality provisions to various locations across multiple sites
• To be responsible for goods receipt and stock rotation of deliveries.
• To assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• To keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
• To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To be customer focused at all times, by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
• To project a willing and helpful attitude to customers; to seek the appropriate knowledge of food items sold through out catering areas and to keep areas and service counters clean and fully stocked.
• To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
• To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen / service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times.
• To attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses as required.
• To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Full Drivers License
• Ideally have experience working within Education catering
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
• Fun and enthusiastic
• Have excellent organization skills
• Demonstrate great attention to detail
• Be a team player, and enjoy succeeding as a team
• Possess great customer service skills
