Job Description

About this role:

  • Receiving, organising and distributing goods deliveries
  • Checking invoices and ensuring stock rotation
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to management and suppliers
  • Assisting in ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels
  • Conducting stock taking
  • Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
  • Delivering stock to various areas
  • Keeping all catering areas clean & tidy
  • Working with all school & Baxterstorey teams on location
Qualifications
  • No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
  • Demonstrates strong physical stamina, with the ability to remain on their feet for extended periods and safely handle the lifting of heavy items
  • Maintains excellent attention to detail and consistently follows instructions to a high standard
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is an advantage
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
