Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a vending driver based at Portishead head office with travel to Bristol and Bath. You will provide a friendly catering service, perform vending replenishment tasks, and support across multiple sites within the Bristol and Bath area.

The role requires a high level vetting process; you will contribute to efficient service, food safety and excellent customer care while maintaining clean, welcoming spaces.

Qualifications

• Valid full driving licence is required.
• Experience in education catering is preferred.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with a customer focus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver catering and hospitality to multiple locations.
• Manage goods receipt and stock rotation.
• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• Keep kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
• Provide friendly, efficient and hygienic service.
• Ensure prompt service and consistently exceed expectations.
• Be visible and helpful to customers during service.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient service.
• Attend food safety and health & safety training.
• Follow unit cleaning schedules.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE A HIGH LEVEL VETTING PROCESS

As a vending driver you will be providing a friendly catering service at all levels within the location, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with vending replenishment and organisation operating out of Portishead head office across multiple sites within the Bristol and Bath Area

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver catering and hospitality provisions to various locations across multiple sites
• To be responsible for goods receipt and stock rotation of deliveries.
• To assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• To keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
• To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To be customer focused at all times, by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
• To project a willing and helpful attitude to customers; to seek the appropriate knowledge of food items sold through out catering areas and to keep areas and service counters clean and fully stocked.
• To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
• To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen / service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times.
• To attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses as required.
• To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Full Drivers License
• Ideally have experience working within Education catering
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
• Fun and enthusiastic
• Have excellent organization skills
• Demonstrate great attention to detail
• Be a team player, and enjoy succeeding as a team
• Have a flexible approach to work
