Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Stourbridge is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and record all work accurately.

We offer a basic salary of £32,000–£36,000 with an uncapped bonus (OTE £45k+), paid overtime including Saturdays, 31–33 days holiday, a company pension, staff discounts, healthcare benefits and ongoing manufacturer training with clear career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in a dealer environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

The role

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Conducting vehicle health checks (EVHC) and identifying additional work
• Ensuring all work is recorded accurately in line with company processes
• Working safely and as part of a professional workshop team

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in an independent or main dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop
• Full UK driving licence
